Since I sold my third company, SimplySwitch in 2006, people have been asking me ‘What are you doing now Karen?’ Writing a book I’d say. Launching a TV programme. Giving lots of speeches. Mentoring would-be entrepreneurs. Dabbling in the property market. Making my own damson jam even. But it didn’t matter what I said, nothing seemed enough.

It seems to me the toughest thing about success is that you've got to keep on being a success.
