Karen was a finalist at Cosmopolitan's 'Woman of Tomorrow Award'. She won CBI's 'First Woman of Finance Award' in June 2006. She was also a finalist in the National Business Awards 'Credit Suisse Entrepreneur of the Year', 2006. In March 2009 she was named as one of Britain’s 100 Most Entrepreneurial Women by Real Business magazine and Bank of Scotland.
